Description
Cobalt leaves the tree hollow that he and his adoptive dad Asterion are living in to explore the snowy landscape. Usually Cobalt would be with the Queen Vali's flock in the Southern Plains, however the southern plains bull griffins go into hibernation earlier than Cobalt's species which are Northern Forest Bull Griffins who don't really hibernate but will sleep for long periods if the weather gets really bad during winter, like the three week blizzards they get. So during the winter Cobalt travels with Asterion through the forest, and visit his unicorn herd.
After dealing with two heatwaves this summer I needed to draw a wintery scene. Why? While I do like the hot weather I also enjoy some cold weather too, plus we're nearing the end of summer so why not? Also I've been meaning to work on different landscapes that aren't just grassy valleys XD
