The tunnel stretched out in both directions, going beyond what the Espeon could see on either side. The walls themselves seemed to be moving in a single direction, as if time the Espeon was able to be stagnant in a moving stream. There was no doubt about it, they could cross into different time periods now, and once they make copies of their device, so will their partners. But first, they wanted a chance to explore.

Out of curiosity, they ran for a few moments to where time seemed to be going, once stopping, they opened a portal and looked through. Everything was... barren?? They were in a city, but said city was long dead, plants taking over what was abandoned. What happened here...?

"Oh gods, oh gods, oh no no no no no!!!!" The hybrid muttered, leaping out of the portal??? Where were they? Are they still chased? They don't know, but every second they aren't running, the pursuers would get closer. They can't stop now, especially since Emilo was alive somewhere. What was so important about the wrist device they had??? It looked neat and beeped, sure, but there was abandoned technology everywhere, the pursuers could find their own!!

Trip.

The hybrid's face crashed into the sand first, some getting into their mouth. "Owww...." As much as they wanted to cry, another second wasted could be costly. They needed to get away! As they got up, the wrist device got hit by the floor again, opening another sudden hole. Freedom??

They rushed through, not bothering to stay long. They didn't know where they were, but as of right now, they couldn't care less. The pursuers are gone, and that's what mattered. They looked down, noticing the device's state. "... Well, whatever it was, it's broken." They muttered as they took it off. They just needed to figure out where they are.

Sdjkfghdgk pardon the story thing I just wanted to write that xD both to introduce a new character and do something with Kaine again. I post more abt the new character hopefully shortly. (I bought the design off of Kawitekew (hope you dont mind the ping fkjgfn))
