I love this and I love Toko so thanks for doing this even though it's not your fav pairing.
What I like about Toko is the way they interact with each other. Zuko's always sort of a shy, proper gentleman and Toph has that wicked sense of humor and zest for life that I think sets him off really well. Plus they're both competitive and kickass so I love to imagine them sparring each other into the ground. On top of that, they're both from rich families that they had to work out/get over their relationships with. In these ways, I believe they're pretty evenly matched. They both know what it's like to wear a mask of decorum and understand/were raised to know how to command people. You don't have to agree, I'm not here to start any shipping wars, I just wanted give some insight. If you're interested, I wrote a Toko fic. It might help this pairing make more sense? You don't have to, just a thought. ^^

I don't know, I've never really liked or disliked toko, I just don't see it xD I think I'm more of a "omg, look at them, they're so cute and obvious"- kindof shipper
