Description     Hey everybody, so like I mentioned before I plan to do some pictures from time to time featuring various different things. They may relate to my comics, they may not. Here's a piece that depicts a concept that was planned to be featured in the original version of Shining Consequence but I probably wont be able to for the newer reboot mainly due to time restraints. So I thought for stuff like that it may be interesting to make some pictures depicting the concepts and talking a little about them. So below is a brief summary about what this piece is about and the role they would have had.

We have Melog and Enigma (as a Zorua) a few years before the story took place, prior to Melog's descent into madness and when he was a loving father. Enigma was adopted by him at a young age and has a great deal of admiration and respect for him as a result. This would have also been used to play into the themes that surrounded the story. Nightmare would eventually start manipulating the pair. He saw value in Enigma's abilities and wanted them but Enigma has no interest in that. Nightmare knew that Enigma would never tell his father no, mainly due to still having fond memories of him and feeling bad for him. So Nightmare put the idea in melog's head that it was possible to resurrect somebody from the dead but he needed a power source to do it. Implying Solar's gem was what he needed to resurrect Melog's mate. This was a complete lie but it got Melog to want to aid in the take over of Akripap and by extension convince Engima to help. This was one of many instances of Nightmare acting as a puppet master and manipulating family bonds to get what he wanted (he uses similar tactics on Galvin and Frostbite as well).

"I can't stand to see him this way."
"Oh yes, he's certainly fallen off the deep end."
"He wasn't always like that. He was good once."
"Once upon a time maybe."
    ~Enigma and Nightmare

Thank you all! This has been P.M.James wishing you all a goodnight!
