Some tech details:
Blender 2.69: modeling of buildings (in two stages: separate modeling of construction parts and further building assembling)
Poser 10: partial scene composing (posing characters and conforming clothes)
Octane Render 3.06.2: final scene composing, materials setup and rendering
Paint.NET 4.0.19: signature adding and minimal postwork fixing some mesh issues
All building models are of 1:100 scale

You can see here the typical drawing (floor plan on table) which I've used as reference. Moreover, this building are rather modern design and some more reference data freely available, like drawings of main concrete construction parts; for other building models only rough floor plans are available along with street view panoramas

Домики то веселенькие, но уже очень плотно понатыканы. Ну и внешне смотрятся интересно, а конструкция - типовые многоэтажные панельки со всеми их недостатками.

Неужели Москва?! Я сама родом из Москвы, а сейчас живу и работаю в Канаде. Так по сравнению со столицей России вся Канада построена по принципу "загляни в окошко соседнего дома и проверь, дома ли хозяева". Плюс высотки стоят вперемежку с частными домиками, не считая центра города и спальных пригородных районов. Поэтому мне не привыкать ни к панельным сотам, ни "крыша на крыше". А вот раскраска домов неожиданная для меня. Когда я уезжала из России, там все дома по цвету были бело-серо-кирпичные.
