I love the huge argument but i have to say "theburdislost54" is a complete moron, if you have negitive thoughts keep them to yourself no one like s an asshole who bickers all the damn time.
The sword is thicker which shows it true power.

That's at the thing about your drawings. That they are a bit to ... Generic.
This looks little like Roy, If you where to add in an extra shoulder trim, and remove the headband, this could be labeled Mercenary, or just Solider.
His face is wrong also, but that's just your drawing style.

i think the original nintendo character roy is generic. when i sat down and drew roy, along with all the other characters, i drew it how i wanted them to look, not specifically to how they already look. when you say "his face is wrong" it's telling me that you really aren't seeing my art for what it is and looking at much more critically. his face is not wrong, i did his face with intentions of making him look a bit older and masculine because roy and marth both look like girls.

I'm sorry, next time, I'll take it as a "style" when it looks wrong, I'll also remember to look at art for "what it is" and not criticize on what the tittle and name says.
If you want to incorporate so much of your drawing style, then say it's based off Roy.

i don't really have to say anything, i don't really have to explain detail by detail why something doesn't look the way you want it to look. i made something they way i wanted it to look and you should get over it.

Somewhere there's a line where a correct color scheme, isn't enough to make something, somebody. You've more than passed that line is what I'm saying. If you want me to go in "detail by detail" on just how much this isn't Roy, then I gladly will.
What I'm saying is that you've completely ignored all of Roy's bodily features (That sounds weird.) except his hair. I mean, there are some part's you can change drastically if you want to, but the face is defiantly not one of those parts.
I really don't have the time to argue on why this isn't Roy. Nor, am I willing to admit that this is Roy. I mean look at this: [link] -The head matters.
By the way, I'm not saying this is bad, this is very, very good, just not Roy.

Pardon me for instruding but you obviously didn't draw this, so who are you to say that it isn't Roy? It sure looks like Roy to me. You have a right to critique, but not JUDGE people's artwork simple because that YOU find it doesn't look like what you wanted. The artist obviously drew it as Roy, multiple people think it looks like Roy....So please don't import your opinion when it's not exactly needed, as far as beyond critiquing. I can easily say the same thing about your artwork, that it looks nothing like the original, "you passed the line" crap.
A peice of work does NOT have to look EXACTLY like the original to be the same thing. Please understand that for next time.

Of all things, I'm pretty sure that this argument ended. And I shall have my Input negative or positive. I assume that the comment about my artwork is just a wild guess, All of my artwork is original based off of nothing.
I wasn't saying that it had to look exactly like the same thing, I just say that it at least have a quality, other than color, that looks like Roy.

They don't look like girls, maybe Marth, but I can't see Roy as a girl, where did you get that idea? If you were going for a girl, I'm sorry to say your Roy drawing failed in that criteria.
His face is also elfish, what's with the ears and nose?
