Kero, everyone! Usually, I make monthly reports, but I have a confession to make. I don't have enough information to devote to a single September Frogress Report this year! This time, I decided to do something different; devote one Report to the remainder of the year. With that said, welcome to the Final Third of 2023 Frogress Report!
This report will cover the major happenings of September, October, November, and December. I may go back and make dedicated Reports for the next three months, but for now, this will give you a general preview of what I'm cooking up for the rest of the year. Without further delay, let's begin with this month!
SEPTEMBER
First off, the final 3Kero-Raffle will conclude on Saturday, September 2. I may end it earlier that day since I go to work early the next day. That being said, I will reveal the winner later than I normally do, but I still intend to reveal them on September 3. The prize is set to come later in the month.
Speaking of late September, as I have stated previously, I have extended the deadline for the Grand Finale Contest. You still have a lot of time left to create a comic, picture, or story to conclude Jess's birthday comic. Once again, this new deadline is September 23, and the winner will be revealed on September 24. Use this extra time to get creative! I should have the prize ready sometime in October. Speaking of...
OCTOBER
Now for the mini Bogress Report! October is a spooky time of year, and you can always count on at least a few big Halloween pictures from me, as well as my good friend and frequent art partner, . We're fans of the anime series, Zombie Land Saga, which is all about zombies! Cute zombie idols that sing and perform. We've decided to collaborate and have them "sing" in a different way. You'll see what we mean when we unleash our Zombie Land Saga collab in October.
October is also the month when Jack O' Carver shines. I don't know what my next Jack picture will be like quite yet, but I'm anticipating one will come before Halloween. With that said, stay tuned for a spine-chilling surprise (okay maybe not a scary pic, but I already used the word "spooky")!
But October isn't just for Halloween! This year, it's also the month of some major game releases, none more exciting to me than Super Mario Bros. Wonder. With its focus on Peach and Daisy being playable, I feel like I need to do more Mario-centric drawings, and I don't want to wait any longer to do so! I need to draw some Nintendo pics or I might go crazy! With that said, I really REALLY want to do another Peach or Daisy pic to coincide with the game's October 20 launch. That, or perhaps for the Super Mario RPG launch happening the following month. In other words, in...
NOVEMBER
Time for the mini Connie Report! Connie's birthday is on November 12, and it's PodFrog tradition to celebrate somehow. In the past, I've drawn comics, new friends, or other things to ring in another year of my tomboyish redhead. I hope that 2023 is no different. Like with Jack in October, the Connie celebration will likely be a surprise, even to me. Hopefully, it will be out sometime on or before November 12.
Back in March, my teammates from Team Magic Lamp and I chatted about a third installment of the You Wish! series, titled You Wish 3!: Wish Upon a Star. We've been silent on the topic since then, but we still plan on having it ready in 2023. Personally, I'm hoping it's ready for November. As of now, Team Magic Lamp is planning the picture and accompanying story so that it will meet our November goal. Peach, Shantae, and friends will for sure be ready for more ticklish fun by the end of the year.
DECEMBER
Mini Nog-ress Report time! December is the holiday season, and for 2023, my big celebration is in the form of Gramvent. From December 1 to December 24, one new KeroGram will be uploaded, featuring characters suggested by friends and followers during Kero Claus's Christmas in July! This process is a lengthy one, so I've made a goal for myself to have six Gramvent pictures ready to go each month before December hits. So far, this goal has been going smoothly. At the time of this writing, six of the 24 pictures have been drawn!
You might be wondering what the picture for December 25 will be. Well, it'll be the final KeroGram ever. In August, I announced that I will stop making KeroGrams, and I will conclude this chapter of PodFrog history on Christmas Day. You'll just have to tune in to see what the last KeroGram will be! Thank you all for enjoying KeroGrams over these past few years. I hope you enjoy my next creative endeavors.
December is also the time of year when I do my annual Season's Greetings pic. This cozy picture will showcase one or two of my OCs enjoying the holiday season. Who will I pick this year? You'll see...
I'm sure I'll do other holiday-themed events, too. Tis the season, after all!
