Welcome to August, one of the biggest months of the year for me! It's the month where I got my start on DA four years ago and debuted my Pie Factory characters and Sandalwood setting. Because of the symbolic nature of this month, I like to call it "Frogust!" But you're not here for wacky wordplay. You're here to learn about what's happening in my gallery this month! Well hop right in and I'll gladly elaborate!

First, let's discuss Summer Celebration 2. In July, we celebrated Christmas in July with a contest and held round 2 of the 3Kero-Raffle. I'm pleased to report that the winners of both events have been revealed! As for the Christmas in July pics, from here on out, I'll be calling them "Gramvent" pics since it's no longer July and it's quicker to type. Gramvent is the name of my December event, where each day in December until Christmas, I'll upload one new KeroGram. The characters to be drawn were also revealed in the link above, so you'll know who's coming. Given the ambitious nature of this project, my goal for the rest of the year is to produce six Gramvent pics a month until December comes. With six in August, September, October, and November, all 24 pics should be ready for December.

Now it's time to talk about Frog-ust's events! This month marks the final round of the 3Kero-Raffle. Since we all know how that works, I'll just hop forward and discuss the main event, the Grand Finale Contest.

If you saw the sneak peek from last month, you're already familiar with what this contest entails. If you didn't see it, then I'll summarize this contest. In short, I've created a new comic where Jess Desserts receives a large and mysterious birthday gift. What did she receive and what will it do? It's up to you to come up with a conclusion to the comic! This can be done by drawing a single picture, making a continuation comic of your own, or even writing a story detailing what goes on! You can conclude however you want, just as long as it's elaborate and creative. I've been seeing single-sentence "entries" on the sneak peek post, and that's not the kind of entry that I'm looking for. Really use this time to make something special for Jess!

Both 3Kero-Raffle: Round 3 and the Grand Finale Contest will happen from August 2 to September 2, with winners revealed on September 3. Since the Grand Finale Contest is grander in scope, I can always extend the deadline if needed. Let me know if you need this deadline extension as the month unfolds, and I'll plan accordingly!

In the past, I've stated that KeroGrams will no longer be a part of the Frogress Reports since they're kind of a given now in my gallery. If there's a new month, there will be KeroGrams to draw. However, in the month of Frog-ust, KeroGrams are at their biggest, and that's hard to ignore. This month will primarily be spent making KeroGrams. In terms of the main KeroGrams, I'm expecting to make nine of them this month, and that's not including the ones I'll be making for Gramvent. As stated above, my goal this month is to make six Gramvent KeroGrams. In the gallery description, I'll keep count of the number of Gramvent pics I draw to let you know how many have been done. There's a lot to do this month, so please do not send me requests! My platter is full right now, and I must provide gifts and prizes to everyone! Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Lastly, let's hop to the Ponder Pond, where I brainstorm ideas that may or may not get drawn this month. Like I said in July, I've been thinking a lot about all the video games coming out this year and beyond. I really want to do more pictures based on them. And yes, this includes ideas with Princess Peach, okay?

Sandalwood has also been a big topic on my mind recently. Characters from The Pie Factory, S.S. Soft Serve, etc. are my favorites to work with since I have the most ideas for them. Hopefully, I can produce more pics of them.

Also, I didn't post this on the Frogress Report graphic above (this idea came to me after I made it), but I'm hoping to have a new Behind the Scenes picture up this month, too. I've already begun work on it, but given the importance of KeroGrams and prizes this month, this may have to wait a bit.
