Description
Contest prize for ~ShelbyTSheep for winning 3rd place on the Digital Category on my contest. She requested her character Eterna with water and a night sky.
I was going to do it with colored pencils, but after finishing the sketch, it was itching to be done with graphite.
In the paper, those smudges in the sky aren't that visible, but they're still there, my bad, I did a very stupid thing while shading the sky.
I'm also not too fond of her chest area... No matter how many times I reworked it, I couldn't make it look like I wanted.
Still, I really like the atmosphere of this work and I love her head.
Those dapples, ugh, they're an epic fail too. If you could offer me some advice on those I'd be VERY grateful!
Hope you like it, Shannon!
I'm sorry it took so long and thank you so much for your patience!

Well, the color is the same, they're both dappled greys, but yeah, Alabastro's conformation has nothing to do with this xD Arabians and Lusitanos do not look alike at all. Thank you!

The level of detail is amazing, almost magical!
Coloring the eye green is a great touch. Almost didn't see that there.
If you made any mistakes, the level of detail you put into this hides those mistakes.

Pah, with the amount of work I've been doing for school lately I forgot (again) that you were even doing it, so it was a wonderful surprise to show up in my deviation list when I was going through in the 30min/WEEK I have off. xD

Glad you think so! I do think there's a lot of room for improvement though, they definitely didn't turn out the way I wanted, I'll just keep practicing.
Thank you so much for the lovely comment and !
