"Where are you Adhara? You can't be gone..." Alcor tried to stand up after the bloody fight against his most feared enemy, the same who had torn his wing apart, the same that made him cower and run and now, the same who killed Adhara. Where was she? The dragon's corpse lay on the floor, blood running from its chest and head. Even though he had defeated his foe, Alcor was also wounded, blood covered his neck and two nearly mortal scratches burned painfully on his neck, but what was the point?
She was gone, he'd never see her smile, sense her smell and listen to her call again, never. He looked around and picked up Adhara's feathers, the only thing that was left of her, the same he had given her when they were young.
After gaining the strength to keep going, he turned his back to the dragon and fled to the mountain's base where the snow was already deep and denounced his presence with a trail of crimson blood.
"No... it can't be... It's Impossible..."

Alcor reaches the cliff to rescue Adhara but isn't able to find her and takes her as dead. He also killed the dragon who had attacked them in the past and kept Adhara prisoner after he fled and abandoned her. It was also that dragon that ripped off his right wing.

And yes, Alcor is based on a Friesian although he is not an actual Friesian, he has some Lusitano characteristics as well.

Out of the series of works of these characters, this is one of my favorites.
