I will always love Sakura even if she was victim to some horrible awful writing. That said I really love your take on the cherry blossom the style you used makes her look very close to the anime yet b&w like the manga. It's very nice, really wonderful job on Sakura.

Nice but I wonder how a full body sketch of he would look like.

I can give Sakura credit, she definitely redeemed herself in Shippuden. Unlike the other characters who didn't get much fleshing out.

If there is one character I can say with confidence that Kishimoto had little to no idea what to do with, it would be Sakura. Early in the series, she was probably one of the most shining example of the Faux Action Girl. She contributed jack to fighting, despite the fact that was all she was trained for at the academy. Worse yet, there was a lot of potential to be tapped in her. Early in the series, she's said that she had fantastic Chakra control, so you'd think she'd use it to employ techniques that require said talent, but no. You'd think she'd use illusions, since she was categorized as a Genjutsu type, basically an illusion specialist. Again, no. So she eventually became a medic and later learned how to do megaton punches, since those require very precise chakra control, but beyond that, this is her entire skill set. Pretty horrendous, wouldn't you say? She was also said to be pretty smart, as in she aced exams, so you'd think she'd be the one to come up with battle plans for the main team, make that big forehead of hers and supposed intelligence more than just flavor text, but no, gods forbid there's more than one smart guy or strategist in town. Did I also mention she's supposed to be one of the main characters?
It also doesn't help that, when looked at objectively, Sakura is a nobody. Most of the important or recurring supporting characters are part of a clan with their own signature techniques, or have some trait that make them stand out. But Sakura has none of that. She's a glorified Muggle. Oh sure, she may have become Tsunade's apprentice and that's supposed to be what makes her special, but Naruto was also Jiarya's apprentice and Sasuke Orochimaru's, and each learned their masters' signature moves, so she really isn't that special in that respect. It really disappoints me that Kishimoto didn't try at all to make her relevant when there was so much he could have done to make her work.
All rambling aside, this is a nice picture. I approve.

I never said I disliked the character, rather that I am disappointed in Kishimoto, the author, for not realizing the potential the character possessed.
