Thanks dude.. you started it. You drew those little centaurs and it was like getting a song stuck in my head, I had to try some.

Lovely work. I really like your centaur girls. The only problem I see is with that front leg chesnut. It's too high. Those little buggers are smack in the middle of the knee (on the inside of course).
My gelding does this every morning when I go out to feed!

You're right, it's a little high, but chestnuts aren't directly in the middle of the knee (assuming you're talking about the front legs) they're like.. in the middle of where I put this one, and the actual knee. I tend to draw them higher as more of a design aesthetic, rather than basing on exact anatomy. If I drew realistically, instead of caricaturing, it would make sense to have all anatomy in check.. but since I don't, I don't worry so much about exact placement of things

Both really well done, but I like the pose of the first sketch a little better. I think it's the head positioning that makes it work so well.

Love. It.
Do you think she's too skinny?
Your horse anatomy is spot on. Even for a cartoon-ish piece.

OMFG!!!!! I just about had a loss of conciousness from the combined gasping for breath and slack-jawed gaping when I saw this piece. Holy crap-a-moley, my dear! Claire Wendling had better watch out. 'cause you is about to blow her out of the water. Yes, I am serious......

Wow thank you!! That really means alot... I'm grateful that you've been watching me for awhile and have noticed progress. I always think it's so amazing how someone can watch another artist progress over a period of time, and I never thought someone would ever say something like that to me XD Seriously, thank you, what a sweet comment
