EDIT: Added and inbetween frame for smoothness and gave him the details that weren't there before, like the eyepatch and stripes on his face.Talksprite commission for:
Okay you're probably not really XD wondering what makes my "classic talksprites" different than my "my style" ones.
-The classic ones only have three shades per block of color, if that makes sense. There's the base, the highlight and the shadow <3
I don't really have any good examples of a talksprite in "my style", but maybe I'll make one just to show what I'm talking about XD <3

His scarf, clothing and hair looks superbbb~!! I like the shadows on them! Though, the white spots kinda bother me~ xD
His animation of inhaling and exhaling is so smooth~ but when he turns his head, it's like a lil jerk/sudden turn. :0
I love how it turns out, but there could be improvements~! ;v; <3

And the mouth and nose is a little too low~ And the shadows on the face is bothering me a tiny bit..if you can edit that to look simple, then it'll be great~! Give him a cute lil (deep/dark) blush to be a lil higher too~ ;u; <3
(EDIT: I just realized his stripe markings on his left cheek is missing, can you do that on for me too? ;u; )

What am I supposed to do about the white spot since that's part of his design? I'm confused...
And on that previous talksprite commission of mine that you wanted me to base it off only had a two frame head turn (point A to point B, 3/4s to front) in it...
Ah I'm sorry! I didn't see any of those things on either of the refs you showed me! Could you describe the eyepatch and stripe markings more?
This will take me *hours* on top of the *many hours* I spent today, so I'd definitely appreciate the extra points.
The shadows and features are just my art style for making talksprites... so I'm really only able to fix the animation smoothness, eyepatch and stripes problems for you.

Yep, I did! But if you don't want to edit the animation, it's fine~ It's the details of his appearance is what's bothering me. :3

Ah I meant that to be like the white is sort of fading into the brown which is hard to re-create in something with so little color variation.
Honestly, I wish you showed me these references and character details before... There was really no way I was supposed to know to add these things, so it's not exactly fixing my mistakes...
Let's put the price into perspective: This took me about four hours. The corrections will take me about 2, so I think it's fair to have these "corrections" priced at half of what the original commission is. (90 + 45 = 135) I hope this is okay with you, lovely! I really did spend so much time and effort working on this, when I have so much else to do with my time, I'm truly sorry it's not to your liking, but these mistakes were inevitable with the references I was given to work with.
I hope we can come to an understanding!
