Happy Birthday
!I had this contest entry done a few days ago, but I wanted to post it directly on *Iniphineas 's birthday to surprise her!
Fate is my favourite character from her graphic novel and after hearing about 's contest, I immediately sketched these two up
Fate and Jei-dun are so cute together in my opinion. (If you don't like yaoi, don't comment. They are both male and one of my favourite couples in the story).
I went all out for this contest. Look I even did a background
(this is actually a rarity for me...as I'm very very weak at backgrounds, but I wanted to do one for these two). Those trees took forever! D: I even made a new custom tool preset specifically for trees XD (i even called it 'tree brush' 
as it is now what I'll be using for trees!). I also branched out and tried a new style I've been tinkering with. I've never shown this style online until this contest entry as I wanted it to be special!
The lyrics are from the song "You Are The reason" by Capsule, the song I was listening too when I got the idea. I think the song fits very well with these two so far!

I love fate and jei-dun, they are such a cute couple. 
I've actually received notes about anti yaoi people about it, but for the most part people enjoy and I'm happy to make it. (i respect any sexuality preference, regardless of gender <3 ). I tried a different colour technique and i'm glad it shows!

... Seriously, you received anti-yaoi notes? That's awful! It's not like this is breaking any kind of DA rules, and it's your art! You have freedom of er... BRUSH! Being a bisexual boy myself, I find it hurtful to hear you had complaints about this picture that is so sweet and loving. I hope you do more in the same ilk!

Yes actually. I chose to just ignore them, not everyone likes Yaoi/yuri and i know the creator of these two wonderful characters have gotten a bit of backlash as they have a lot of yaoi pairings in their story (which are beautiful

All though I do feel if people don't like yaoi/yuri they should just not look at it. I wonder if they send notes to everyone on the internet who posts yaoi/yuri and I seriously doubt it. I can understand it more when people do it in fandom, because fans get annoyed when you mess with the 'cannon' but, if it's your OC's and original work you can do whatever you like with it. Fandom too is there to enjoy so each person can enjoy it their own way.
I am very pleased they noted you rather than spammed your work and I am very happy you responded in such a way. It's a good thing you explained yourself to them and maybe even opened their eyes a little.

I love land of the sky so much because it's a well executed graphic novel, right away i fell in love so i wanted to do my entry kind of 'comic panel' style to support that.
