Description
SOLDThis is for 's contest [link]
I had a lot of trouble with trying to get this image out on screen or paper. I re drew this drawing, I don't know how many times, starting on the computer then I moved towards pencil crayons then water colour. It was super difficult to get it to look how I imagined it.
I finally decided to just go with it and I am quite happy with the outcome.
I bought some masking fluid to try out on this painting, which I really enjoy using. I actually liked the texture that it gave to the fire horse so I left it on there.

I really enjoy the way you used the complimentary colors together, as it really makes the fiery horse pop.
I also like how you incorporated the masking fluid into the piece instead of just peeling it off. It gives a really nice texture effect.

DAMN, this is good! I think it really takes your work to a whole new level. Honestly, I think it would've been better without the water horses, but I know that those were necessary (that prompt thing...). That fire horse is seriously awesome. The technique there is great!

Aw, thank you so much for the kind words. I really had fun with this piece. I am glad that I am getting off my butt and finally trying out some new mediums.

No, I meant mediums hehe Media works as well though (Medium: The material or form used by an artist, composer, or writer ex.oil paint is the most popular medium for glazing)

Yes, I know what a medium is - I'm in university, remember? But plural of medium is media, not mediums.

haha 'course. XD Honestly, I'd rather see that than someone using "media" as a singlular.
