I spent hours of frustration and fun on this piece. I was really not liking how it was turning out, especially the water. I had to change it so many times. I am pretty happy with the outcome now though, it turned out how I wanted it to. I hate doing water, it is one of the most challenging things to paint in my opinion. But it is always good to challenge and experiment.
Also, I didn't even add a reflection of the horse to the water. I had done that about 3 times as well and ended up just giving up on that. I think it still looks okay now anyways.
Oh, can you spot the rock shaped like a heart?

This looks quite pretty! I love the background. You did an amzing job with the water! I think it might almost be too calm, though, for having trout and smooth stones in it. I like the ripples, though.

It's nice! Like the small details as the butterflies and the fishes! Though the one by the horse leg should be like.. somewhere else as it looks like a wierd shadow at first sight. What you could have done to give it more detail, and sens of motion is some drippling water from the muzzle =
