I don't think I made something worthy of tears before. So here's Scootaloo memorializing her parents. Head-canon says both of them died in an accident when she was 4. She barely remembers them.This is my first true background. I also try to get everything in show-style. Does it look good? I need critique.
Yes, the clouds are wrong. But I derped something in Inkscape and it came out like that, and I was all ME GUSTA.
EDIT: Added stupid shadows and upped the saturation.
EDIT 2: Fixed stupid shadows and resized it for wallpaper use. Don't worry about the resolution, it fits a standard widescreen.

This is indeed very touching. If her parents are indeed dead, it may be interesting to see how she copes with it. Maybe in Season 3 if it is comfirmed, it would make an interesting premise for an episode of Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash together in some way.

According to Lauren Faust, it was originally planned that AJ's parents had passed away from an accident years ago. She wanted to somehow tie this in to the official story of the FIM verse, but it was decided that it was too upsetting to include a story like this in a children's show.

My theory on AJ, BM, and AB's parents:
Their mum's name is Gala and their dad's name is Apple Harvest.
Gala died giving birth to Apple Bloom.
Apple Harvest was captured by Diamond Dogs along with Scoot's parents and were killed by the Diamond Dogs.

Ok thanks for the info. Sounds legit for Lauren because AJ's parents did died in an accident years ago. But how did Apple Bloom get involve because in the episode 'Cutie Mark Chronicles' AJ and Big Mac were fillies and Apple Bloom didn't show up, till now.
My theory is that AJ's parents were still alive and when the fillies got older, the parents must have gave birth to Apple Bloom and sent her to the farm before they died; but that is just my opinion.
So since Lauren can't put it in the FIM verse, she could either tell us how they died or we could come up how they died since it won't be in the show

This sort of reminds me of the fan story 'Under your Wings' when she visits her mother's grave before Rainbow Dash arrives to find out what she's doing there.
This is a very touching piece of work, and if it is true or not about Scootaloo being an orphan, then we can all feel her pain for being alone. Still, she has friends and she has someone she looks up to like a big sis, which is kind of cute in that sense.
