Tumblewool's park. This park is known for its size of 800 000 hectares. It is alot visited by strangers and travelers even from outside of Japan. It originally was a tall forest until the Muromachi era. At the time, the tall trees had fallen due to a quick change in the humidity of the air. And it was then that everything changed.

In the day of 1407. Right before the sunset. Banri, a young boy with only a brother and a mother, was going out to harvest some fruits from the urillia's trees. These fruits, called Pokapoka, are very tasty, juicy and taste like a mix of melon and orange but in the shape of a cherry. Also, their colors are yellow. Their various use in countless different ways of preparing them makes them handy as accompaniments in meals. They worth alot for these reasons and can only be harvested in the middle of summer before the night (otherwise they are going to taste less juicy).
That's what Banri did. He went on by himself after telling his brother that he was harvesting some. Though he didn't inform mother about it. He walked to the border of Tumblewool. The walk to the first trees is no long since his house is close as neighborhood. Arrived at it, Banri did not felt any strange things except that two of the trees looked noticeably different. But since it's "trees" it didn't catch his attention any longer. He continued his mission into the forest. Banri started hurrying a little because the sun was dangerously low in the sky, or on the horizon in this case.
The small road on which Banri stepped on was comforting. we can't lie that the TumbleWool forest look's a little scary at night but it should technically not and again, it was not the night. not Inevitably, Banri stumbled on a root and fell directly on his face. He felt that he was really stupid and he got up as fast as he can. but at this right moment, a big and weird animaloid sound thundered from inside the forest. Right where he wished to go an hour ago. Banri immediately stopped moving at the hear of this dreadful roar. Anybody in this situation could imagine a deadly creature at the end of this scream like we see in ghost stories. But that was not a ghost story. And he knew it. Banri hesitated to continue and started thinking if his harvest was worth it. It's very bizarre. This forest is not known to be scary or dangerous. Everybody has ever visited this cute forest. Yellow colors, tasty fruits, small lakes. Even children played in it every day for a long time since now. So why this animal? Is it because of the fall of the tall trees? Or is it because this region of the country got colder over the years? Banri had no idea.
So he decided to turn over and come back to home. But when he did, he realized that the way he took to come here vanished. It was like the trees decided to close the gap. Yes, they did! He was sure. He could see the road hidden. The more he waited, the more the walls of trees felt closer to him. Closer... closer. With their big arms, he knew, They are coming. coming...

Two days following the events, Eisen, the older brother of Banri, went to the forest. He felt the yellow colors of the trees comforting as he wandered inside. His mother wasn't at home. She went to an important ceremony regarding affairs two days ago. She did not return home yet. Eisen wonders, how will she react when she will hear the news of her dear son being lost in these woods. Until now, Eisen searched for him. Strangely, he could almost feel Banri's presence, In the air. In the leaves. In the forest. In the trees.
