Description
Next part of my first big project.Arrgh why did I do this? xD So many gradients >_<
If you download the SVG you can stick a pony between the "Top" and the "Bottom" layer. Opacities are set. I strongly recommend using ponyscape for this, though. Don't even try to open the SVG in vanilla Inkscape xD

If I were in a cocoon just like that one and I embrace my stuffed animals in me, I would just sleep in serenity so I wouldn't be disturbed in any night.

Nice and glossy! I think you're the only other MLP-VC member that's done this! I know what you mean about gradients, mine had tons of them too! Mine's here, if you'd like to see it: [link]

Your strokes are quite wobbly at some parts, but nice work
I was debating if I would even do this, because I wasn't sure how I would pick the colors and all the opacities, but tbh it was easier than I thought^^

Yeap, photoshop is a pain to work with when it comes to line consistency! I'd like to make a full transition to inkscape/(considering ponyscape since I've seen so many members use it beautifully such as yourself!) once I've finally mastered it. IKR, the hard part was getting the right colours to make the gradients look good. Makes me appreciate the animators!

Well if you want to switch I can give you some tips I made my first vector in Photoshop and directly switched to ponyscape after that, so I know how hard it is to switch from Photoshop^^
You might find those interesting: [link] and [link] a tutorial series from *RainbowRage12
I'd recommend to go for ponyscape, it has some neat features over inkscape

Ooo video tutorials - awesome! I'll definitely give inkscape a spin! Hopefully I'll be able to make better images soon. Thanks for the help!

Might I ask what functions you used in Ponyscape to make it incompatible with vanilla Inkscape??? (I don't have Ponyscape, I'm just curious as to how it's better)

Well the main feature would be powerstrokes. If you open this with Inkscape, all the powerstrokes would be shapes with tonnes of nodes.
I also used inverse clipping. I'm not sure if Inkscape has it or not, but I think it doesn't, so the shapes I used inverse clipping on, won't be shown correctly. I also used Fill between Strokes, but I don't think that does any funky stuff if you try to open it with Inkscape. After all it's just a shape.
Ponyscape also has features like Elipse by 5 Points and Attach Path and others, which can be quite useful, but I havn't used them in this vector.

IDK the changelings brought it, I guess.

Will you also be vectorizing Queen Chrysalis defeated and screaming in agony after a love spell expels herself out of Equestria?
