Description
My original character Korofi Hamaki (link to his ref sheet and other drawings of him). He's an African Crater Dragon.First drawing with my new tablet. I changed his snout a little, trying to make it more realistic. Still unsure on the teeth. References used: Canine skulls. I'm proud of the coloring on the eye~
(I'm not sure what category to put dragons/fantastic beasts in...)

I can defiantly see the mix of canine and lion when I look at this. And the shading and lighting is so clean... so awesome.

If you're still needing a little bit of help on the teeth, unless he's extremely reptilian in oral structure and has no gums, he'd need some gums around those teeth of his. Check out some pictures of snarling animals and study their mouths. Considering his a dragon-esque character, try looking at other artists renditions of oral structure, too. :3 That may help you find what your looking for.

I love his expressions XD This is the closest I've gotten to what he looks like in my head, expressively.
Yeah, I did try adding gums but it didn't look quite right...then again I wasn't very good at drawing them, and it was after the sketch, during lineart. I'll have to try gesturing with that. Thanks for the input, it's really appreciated!
