I speak from a HUGE animation experience. Ive rotoscoped for HOURS, literally redrawing details and body movements by hand. Ive drawn original animations on transparencies. Ive used 2d tools in flash fro and riceman. Ive used 3d animation in blender. Ive even used MS paint.
This didn't take a fuck ton of work. You have a static body, 3 positions for eyes, and 7 for mouth that i can see... lets estimate 10 mouths. A hand that has maybe 5 positions, a single articulated arm with no unique animation. And roughly 20 breasts and belly sets- 3 deformed circles each + a shirt... Plus a bottle, a doughnut...
This took you hours. For a sensible person i can believe that it took 2 days office time. Unless you worked an hour a day, maximum, this didn't take that long.
Its long compared to a single picture, but this isn't rotoscoping. This isn't even tween animation. You had to draw SHAPES. And you didn't even shade them in (which is a necessary step for an independent artist to take).
Compared to your normal work load this shouldn't have taken that long and compared to your other art this MIGHT HAVE been worth the work of, perhaps, 2 detailed fat girl paintings. How do I know? Because you worked in elements; you didn't redraw the entire girl with every single frame.

The thing is, I don't have a HUGE animation experience, I'm an amateur at this, I don't use flash or any other animation program, since I don't know how to use them, I use photoshop, it's shitty for that, but it's what I have
Maybe in the future, I evolve to rotoscope or tween animation, but for now, I can only draw shapes and nothing more, since I don't have much experience and I don't have time to make it in a single day, this took me 3 days

Alright, perhaps im too much of a zealot for my own good. I was frustrated at your time phrasing, and wanted to say: that this should have taken hours to make.
Yes, this would have been easier in flash, or Animate. Photoshop or something like gimp is good for cell to cell animation.
But rotoscope animation isnt an evolution. Rotoscope animation is where you ink and paint over "film" of a person or stop animated objects. Some can be good, most is typically sloppy and short.
In rotoscope animation:Β
Unless you can draw really fast, or your project has a simple style, it takes a really long time. You would be drawing the same thing/person/people at LEAST 12 times for every second. Plus, add time for imagined visuals, like expanding body parts.
A smooth, detailed rotoscope will take forever. Uless you like that gritty cartoon style, i do not recommend it.Β

MP4 is usually standard for this kind of thing, but Deviantart still has its feet firmly rooted in the early 2000s, so I don't know if it supports that or not.
