tribute lol. dedicated to the dark ace's weird and awesome death in the last (?) episode of storm hawksi suppose i always knew that they wouldn't actually have aerrow kill the dark ace- i mean, it's a kids' cartoon and aerrow's the hero. So when it came to the inevitable final clash aerrow would best dark ace but then spare his life and turn him over to the authorities for great justice, right? no: instead they went with having him exploded by his own master LOLOLOL...wut?
at least he seemed to enjoy it
i hope there will be moar storm hawks. if not, at least it ended good: the last couple episodes were aaaaaaawesum

LOL It's funny, I always thought that Aerrow would take him down, but Cyclonis PWNED him with MOAR(power, that is).
I kind of hope that there'll be a standoff between her and Piper at the end of it all.
I just hope it isn't one of those standoffs like in the movie 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith', where one person decides that they "just can't kill" the other person, the other person comes to the same conclusion, and then they kinda hug it out...it would be adorable, but not a good ending.

well I actually had the exact same thought as you had. But when I saw Master Cyclonis start feeding him power I kind of realized that she is not going to stop. And to be honest I wasn't a Dark Ace fan, but I did think he was a big audition for this two seasons. But his death was so... perfect somehow. It made the show fit not just "kids" (which I think would appreciate this more as teenagers... I mean come on. I'm 19 and love it

ta! yeah, i think storm hawks had appeal for older viewers (like me), too- it's that thing some 'kids' shows have where they can be funny and silly most of the time but at the heart of it the creators take the world and the characters quite seriously and that shows through sometimes, too, you know? i like that. i don't know why storm hawks wasn't more popular, everything about it is cool to me!

I agree with you. It's like oldtimes shows... and movies... I mean look at disney movies today and ten years ago.. There was fun stuff then. But it was also a lot of heart in it which was mostly shown in the serious parts. The same with this show. And yeah I'm 19 as I said and I really enjoy it.
My guess is that most girls doesn't like the whole Sci-Fic over it, which I think is the cool part. And obviously there is only one main female characters... so yeah. Girls are supposed to watch... winx or whatever... However. And yeah. the boys might not appreciate the tension that was there. Not saying all boys didn't but I did have neighbour that thought that tension like in this show was lame... they just wanted the blood splatter.
It's a shame though. The show was really really good.
