Decided to do one as well. ^^A bunch of artist friends were over this past weekend, and we went through some of my old sketchbooks. It made me really nostalgic to look at my old Sailormoon and Gundam Wing fanart. Sometimes its good to look back and see how far you've come.
There are a few things missing from this meme. I spent a few years drawing still life and oil painting while taking art classes, during this progression. I don't really post my regular art on DA, but that's part of the reason for the jumps you see.
Here's to a better 2010!!

Hurr. I need to draw more often. I've been spending all my free time lately (read: procrastinating) playing TokiDoki Memorial (while pretending the heroine was male), and reading Nabari no Ou... and Toriko. (Yes, I read an incredibly wide range. I came out of the bookstore one day holding an Tanemura Arina (mangaka of Full Moon, Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne, etc) art book and in the other hand... Dragonball Z.)

you do not know how much this has inspired me.
i look at every piece of your artwork and i'm simply awestruck. to see you from the beginning, at a stage within reach of me, gave me courage. but to see you evolve to the masterpieces you make now, it gives me a bright new hope.
it makes my heart feel light and makes me itching to draw. practice, practice, practice.
if theres a chance that I could rise to your current level, like you did, then I'll work nonstop every day!!
