Description Update: Changed the photographed version to this scanned version.

Because Guardians of Ga'hoole don't have any feather markings, (like the Pure Ones) I decided I could just do the head with the helmet, and his battle claws. It's not perfect, but it's fine for now. I think I'll be doing a series of these. I'm thinking of doing Rafael next. I want to see what I can do for the beak. I used The Art of Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of a Ga'hoole to help me with the helmet and claws. That book's a huge help when you're doing stuff like this.

I finished the helmet while in bed, then coloured the rest later. Word of advice: do not look up "The MΓΌtter Museum" before going to sleep. Seriously.

Feel free to use the helmet desgin, just credit me somewhere.

BTW, I'm making a fanfic project that will cross over these movies as well, and several other movies. Well, it's still on hold now, as I'm more focused on my drawings... .

I'm not quite sure.. I'd actually never seen the movie until recently. (I watched the first movie right before we went to see Rio 2) I think with time I'll become a bigger fan

Well, for this one I used Crayola Erasables, which are probably the worst I've used for colouring in, but I had a lot handy. I prefer the regular Crayola pencil crayons. The helmet and claws were done with Sharpies.
