Description
Despite it's complete lack of conventional weaponry, the X-003 is an extremely deadly mobile suit. Asside from the titan-osmium claws capable of crushing battleship-grade armor plating, the X-003 is also equiped with Project Artimis' greatest acchievement. The 3 ElectroMagneticPulse dischargers, one on each palm and a third in the "mouth" is capable of creating a charge that will knock out all electronic devices within a 400 meter radius. While a complex array of neodymium coils and ceramic super-conductors allow the head-mounted EMP discharger to be aimed with reasonable accuracy, the palm dischargers cannot be aimed as effectively and can potentially cripple the X-003 itself if activated in sync. Thus, a peripheral system reboot module containing a number of Francium batteries is capable of restarting the X-003's systems after a hard shut-down due to EMP disruption. Like the X-002, the X-003 is also controlled via remote neuro-uplink. However, due to the constant power-surges and overloads of the frontal-limbic uplink array, many of the X-003's test pilots eventually succomb to full-blown psychosis and were forced to be "retired" by the Project directrate. (the X-003 is currently on its 18th pilot)
