"Onboard the sleek and swift Venom craft the Incubi are hurled into the fray to spearhead the Dark Eldar force."Took me a days worth of drawing, and I'm not satisfied with the background. Will fix it a little later. (after I've had some sleep, that is) ...The background is shameful to bear until then.

I can kind of see what you mean about the background, but to be honest, I don't think I would have noticed if you hadn't said anything. The focus is on the Incubi, and I think the simple background kind of adds to that. And the Incubi themselves look absolutely epic.

Cool work man, these are great designs. I like the bone white helmets contrasting with the glossy black armour plate. You may hate the background but the lighting it produces works really well imho

It's not the background as a whole that I hate, it's the complete lack of any defining forms or details that I hate.

I like the one in the middle of the composition the most. Seems dynamic for some reason in mid-leap. Incubi swords are badass.

Actually they just copied Eldar for plasma technology but that's beside the point.

The Eldar never bothered to go through with the whole copyright protection laws, or the books were destroyed sometime during the Fall. In either event, it was free rights to every species! ...save the Orks.

Maybe you should wait for a few months to fix it, until the Venom is released. A GW source unofficially said it was on the go.

There is ofcourse the silhouette image in the codex itself which I am using as reference.
And since it's in the background, it will be a silhouette aswell.

That's the thing with the new Incubi models: They're all nearly exactly alike.
The fin-blades on their backs, the horns on the helmet and loin plating are the only things apart from a trinket here or there that makes em stand out. Otherwise they're an army of clones. :/
