Description
I've been feeling bad about my anatomy skills recently... I've done loads of reading and learning and tutorial watching about anatomy and feel like I have a good grasp of it, but the drawings that I did from my imagination always turned out looking, well, far worse than I wished they would!SO. In order to improve my understanding of how the anatomy changes according to motion and angle and stuff, I decided to do THIS thing! I didn't use any references, so the anatomy certainly isn't perfect, but apparently I'm rather surprised that I have a strong enough grasp of anatomy without even needing references! It gives me hope that I'll be able to draw better if I simply try harder and put more care into it.
The animation is also dodgy since I've never done anything like this before; I know that some bits don't exactly make sense or they morph weirdly and so on.
I may do some more of these; it was an immensely useful exercise, I felt, and I really feel like I understand the form much better now! It'd be interesting to do one for a wolf or dragon or something!
It also increased my confidence with LIGHTING.

So good (y)
Very impressive, certainly, and shows that you seem to understand human anatomy quite a lot now! Your progress in drawing skills and so on is inspiring

Tremendously impressive... I stand amazed! We had to do a similar drawing exercise in my figure drawing class, and it stunned me how challenging such a feat is. Great work!
