Well I didn't know how to explain it in english, so here are some explainations from Wikipedia :

"A tokamak is a machine producing a toroidal (doughnut-shaped) magnetic field for confining a plasma. It is one of several types of magnetic confinement devices and the leading candidate for producing fusion energy. The term tokamak is a transliteration of the Russian word Π’ΠΎΠΊΠ°ΠΌΠ°ΠΊ which itself comes from the Russian words: "Ρ‚ΠΎΡ€ΠΎΠΈΠ΄Π°Π»ΡŒΠ½Π°Ρ ΠΊΠ°ΠΌΠ΅Ρ€Π° Π² ΠΌΠ°Π³Π½ΠΈΡ‚Π½Ρ‹Ρ… ΠΊΠ°Ρ‚ΡƒΡˆΠΊΠ°Ρ…" (toroidal'naya kamera v magnitnykh katushkakh β€” toroidal chamber in magnetic coils).
