This was a practice work. I forced myself to draw 'characters in scenes' because at the time, I wasn't very good at it. I was also practicing moody lighting. This took me about... 3 or 4 days to complete because I botched up the first coloring attempt. It looked horrible. And I'm glad I stuffed it.I love the idea that though it is cold and harsh in the places we live, we are still comforted and protected by the family around us... we're not alone, facing the world...
