Back to an old one, tho one of my fave sketches AND character designs. Anyone remember Jetta Maxx from Eternal Champions back on the Genesis/SegaCD? I certainly do. ^^Just a simple relaxed pose (with her bladerang weapon) of this circus acrobat/gymnast, but it's very cute and I like how the lines came out in general, IMHO.
Perhaps I'll toss up more of her...I certainly have plenty of pics of her drawn.

Thanks very much. ^^Β I really enjoyed the EC series, even with its flaws, and it's a shame it doesn't get more exposure (also a shame that the attempted revamp/reboot from a couple years back seems to have gone completely silent). <:
As for Jetta, she's still to this day one of my favorite fighting game characters.
I actually haven't done a new pic with her in quite awhile...might have to rectify that...

As for the game itself, I like it too, even though its pretty hard and tough to get through. XP
I would really like to see someone try to give that series the same treatment
that Killer Instinct got with really great graphics while keeping alot of that 2D fighting gameΒ

I actually liked Eternal Champions more than Mortal Kombat. Which is something I never thought I'd say o3o

Yeah, EC1 is very rough, although there are some AI patterns you can exploit.Β Doesn't forgive how ridiculous the EC himself is.Β EC2 was a bit more...'fair'.
As for an update, yeah, the KI remake (?) would've been a good model to attempt for trying to bring back EC.Β It's a shame it has been about two years since the last info on the attempted...I don't know what to call it exactly, spiritual successor I think though.
As for MK, I generally respect the series but it's not one of my faves.

Yeah I remember hearing about that. But there really hasn't been any sort of updates
or news on that so I'm only assuming Sega scrapped that.
Which is a shame, cause I always felt the game had a lot of potential if it kept going.
I mean, after MKX, I kinda felt like it wasn't going anywhere good anytime soon. I had more fun with the
older Mortal Kombat games.Β
Personally though, games like Street Fighter and Killer Instinct really peak my interest. Even a lot of Neo Geo titles too

I loved that game! Once I read "Jetta Maxx" was the title I had to see it! Great work! I always played Xavier I liked his cane fighting style!!!

Me and MY Brother agree! It was done by Sega of all people and they really,REALLY don't have there own fighting series besides EC...I've wanted an updated or new EC for a long time..

Well, techincally Sega (of Japan) also 'owned' the Virtual (snore) Fighter series...which is the primary reason EC3 never came around, apparently.

It's similar in both games, perhaps a little less forceful and a smidge higher-pitched in the Sega CD one.

You and I know, Psylisia, that I'm a big Eternal Champions fan. I just got the Sega CD version awhile back, but the blasted Sega CD unit I got don't work!
Well, what can I do?
I look forward to seeing more of your pics of Jetta on here. If I may make a suggestion, why not show them the one of her countering my grappling hook maneuver?
