EDIT: Since I submitted this to a bunch of OC groups as a 'couple' or 'group' - the unicorn is also an OC, yes. She isn't just a random unicorn.Okay so I thought I was done but I wasn't done but now I am done.
I thought I would leave the 'lines unchanged' version up for comparison, but I'll put it in my scraps.

My unicorns are presumed to not like anyone who isn't a virgin, so Will climbed the tree as a precaution. Some of them he has genuine reason to fear, some of them are just curious (unicorns live a really long time - 600-800 years) so they do like looking out for quests and things they can help with.Β But they also suffered/suffer from unicorn poaching, so they can also be very aggressive and chase humans away.Β

Why isn't that boy coming down? Is he afraid of the unicorn?
I like the ground - it's detailed, and blue flowers match with the yellow ones pretty well.
The boys face expresses his emotions really well! Not every artist manages to make their characters this emotional.

There is a legend that the unicorn can only be approached by maidens. Otherwise, they are supposed to be quite fierce.Β Will is not a maiden in either sense of the word, so he is not taking any chances...
