Actually, I hate them more than anything else in the game.

They were a pain the very first time I played the game, but after finding the random scan data about them beating up pirate patrols i couldn't help but love them.
The glow effects on the eyes and energy sphere thingy are fantastic and the colors wonderfully creepy.

Actually, the Chozo became corrupted by what they called the "Great Poison" and their spirits became attached to Tallon IV and their minds went all crazy.
But, the Space Pirates do believe that the spirits are protecting the technology...
That might be a PART of it... but not all of it.

But they are still beateble so they aren't that powerful.

They = the super suck.
Why is this piece so popular over all my others? It seems every time one of my arts are favorited, it's this one.

Because that one's the most eye-catching in your gallery with the bright blues and dark background (or at least I think that's it - that's how I justified my similarly schemed fractals being better than the harder-to-do stuff). Now that I go back through, I also like "Ing" and "Ridley" alot.
And when I think of it, I realize that I wouldn't think to draw a Chozo Ghost like that, I would just draw a chozo and color it blue-ish...so I like it because it's different.
Do a search for "Chozo Ghost" on this site and you'll get some regular black and white, some blue-tinted, one fractal (I can't see the ghost), and yours.
Guess whose is the most original?

their music when ur fightting is cool but they are a nuisance. i forgot but u can only use one beam to kill them

the beam u use on them is the power beam and the best way to kill them is to use the super missle and charge beam and poof easy win

what i never understood is why, if the chozo trained samus, they'd attack her.

It said in the scan that they hang around religious areas (Which is most of the Chozo Ruins, and it's why I hate going there now) And they became easily aggravated because of the corruption of the planet effecting them too.

(Oh, and have you ever noticed [ if you read scans] that about every alien Samus encounters is "easily aggravated" ?)
