Snagged 'Freedom Planet' on a GoG.com sale last week, and I've been playing it pretty steadily ever since. I find it incredibly enjoyable. Sure it started as a Sonic fangame, but the developers have managed to make enough of a divergence from your classic Sonic game that it really has come into it's own. This here isn't one of the main characters, so to speak, and, really... there's nothing of particular note. Why did I draw him? Donno, really. Just sat down and drew him! Here's Commander Torque, the ipso-facto 'leader' of the group that comprises the main characters of the game. He's not even playable (yet) but he keeps the group on task and pointed in the right direction.

But really, if you enjoy 90s platformers, really give this one a look. I consider it to Sega what Shovel Knight was to Nintendo. An excellent throwback with a lot of wonderful modern amenities (like fully- and well done- voice-acted cutscenes).
