Her vocal chords were completely destroyed during her murder, thus, her physical voice did not follow her into the afterlife. She has, however, kept hold of her psychic ability to communicate with others by literally transmitting her thoughts into the minds of others whenever she needs to communicate. She can sneak a peak at other's minds too, if she feels like it.

| || Personality - Somber, even at the best of times. She's decided that she's being punished for being sinful while she was alive so maintains a strong hold on her emotions, very rarely showing more than her usual mopey poker face. Deep down however she's quite cheerful, passionate, and frankly adorable so when she's happy, she's REALLY happy. Is easily flustered when close to men but despite this, still loves to make dirty jokes whenever she can. Tends to be a bit sarcastic and is, by practice, a brilliant liar, or storyteller, whichever context you happen to find yourself in.

| || History - -Has been at the House for several years- The circumstances of Anoushka's birth are somewhat hazy and uncertain but what she does remember is that her family lived in Russia in the 1920s, in the midst of the Civil War. When she was roughly 3, her family fled to France, desperate to escape the turmoil. Sadly her father and two brothers died during the escape, leaving just herself and her mother behind.

Once in France, they lived a nomadic life, desperate to remain out of trouble. However, broke as they were, and without a home, the pair turned to street performing, thievery and, in her mother's case, prostitution. She'd hated it.

After 9 years, Annie's mother died, and it was up to her to keep surviving. She'd always been different. Her hair and eyes were considered a genetic abnormality, apparently lacking in melanin, and her mind, oh how her mind knew things. She'd never known how her mind could needle things out of other's thoughts but using it, she managed to build a business of sorts. She'd perform 'seances' for those who wished to contact their deceased loved ones. Because she looked so strange, it was easy for her to convince people to believe that she could communicate with the dead. Using their thoughts and pieces of truth, she wound webs of lies to keep these people happy in exchange for their coin. She ended up making quite a name for herself.

One day however, she was visited by a strange man. He was tall, handsome but his face had been distorted with a wicked smile. As soon as he'd stood in her tent, she knew she was in danger. Still, she had been hungry that day and out of sheer hunger alone, continued to perform her usual ritual. Once she read his thoughts, however, all she could hear was his need to see her blood, to see her flesh ripped apart and that he was a wanted serial killer who really enjoyed killing young female street performers or 'witches'. Annie had spent her last few moments insane with fear and begging for mercy.

Her corpse was found the next day by some regulars. She'd been stripped naked and completely butchered. Bruises had marked what skin hadn't been painted in her blood. Her hands, arms, head and legs had been severed from her torso, which in turn had also been hacked in half. What was left of her had been arranged as if she was praying with a red rose pressed between her lips and rosary beads tucked between her hands.

Soon after that, she'd woken up somewhere foggy and somehow found her way to the House of Lost with nothing but her first name and sudden need to repent for her sins. She's been there ever since.

| || Other - As a part of her self inflicted punishment, she only wears clothes that are shades of grey or black and occasionally red, however, what she does wear will always be highly patterned and rich in design, as she did not have the chance to wear nice things while she was alive. However, her favourite colour is peach.
- Was highly religious in her childhood but lost faith in her God when she fell into poverty. This, and her rather 'spiritually influenced' murder has lead her to believe that she must spend her afterlife in repentance to God. However, she doesn't tend to talk about it much, except when she's reprimanding herself for breaking her vows, which she often does.
- When she woke up, she found her limbs reattached, with only stitches in place to show that they had ever been detached. However, her left hand appears to have been sewn back on haphazardly and often falls off, causing her to always lose it. She's tried sewing it on again but her second row of stitches always mysteriously disappear and she's left with a detachable hand again. Often jokes that the person who sewed her back together had fallen asleep sewing on her hand.
- Has a thick French accent
- Really likes cats
- When she's upset, she starts to go transparent until she's barely there at all
- When she's angry, she tends to glow red.
- Can't tame her hair to save herself. It's just constantly a messy haystack of purplish mess.
- Is reasonably solid for a ghost and can touch most things as well as turn off her solidness if she wants to walk through things. Only has trouble touching metal and most living people for some reason, however. She hasn't found a set reason, it's seems to be completely random as who she can, and cannot, physically touch. Has caused her to be a bit angsty in the past.
