Description
Yeesh, it's been ages since I posted any art! >_<;; Sorry! I only have sketches, and those aren't very completed...Well, this is my first try at coloring on a tablet! I was going to try out Correl Painter 2, but the fuckin' program is a fuckin' jackass and it's really mean ;__;
But here it is. Everything is done in Photoshop~ Super quick as well (I mean like, 20 minutes probably WHOA)
I would post this in the scraps section, but I wanted some comments on the coloring and whatnot. It's really difficult to blend and color the way I would in reality, and putting it into a digital program, y'know?

looks like you used the pencil tool for the lines, nnyes? Very impressive for 20 mins, my first photoshop drawing with a tablet was a happyface.
UGH.
anyhoo!! I think you're movin right along nicely. A really neat way to do shading (and making it look really cel-shadey too) is taking the lasso tool and selecting an area you want to color. After selecting, go to Edit >Fill>Foreground color. There's a buncha things you can do with the fill tool, give it a try. You familiar with layers, yes?

Ya, I used the pencil tool (don't remember what size though SHIT)
Ah, but I thought the lasso tool-thingie could only work it there's lines there? Or are there more lasso-options? (Hmm, I must investigate YES)
I'm....vaguely familiar with layers. On this one, I made like three (background, lineart, and color). I'm having a hard time keeping the color in the lines though; any help? ;^;
Oh, and any suggestions on blending?
And I'll definetely keep those tips in mind (thanks very much!)

well, there's actually a blending tool (in the toolbox it's the teardrop) if that helps? As far as keeping the color in the lines, i guess that's just gonna take practice. The more steady your hand is, the more controlled the line.
And, if this isn't what you did before, put the lineart layer on the topmost layer!! You might even consider locking it, that helps too!

MMmmmm, tablets vary from company and size, but they're usually at the hundred dollar range, I think?
I got my cute Wacom tablet at around $200 or so dollars, but it's quite a deal; I got a 5-button mouse, a pen with additional nibs, and tons of paint programs. (Photoshop itself is like eighty dollars or so, right?)
XD Thank you very much though!
And your art is good! What are y'talking about (especially those photographs and 3D dsigns DAMN)
