(comment for the pan image) I never uploaded this on DA, this is a layout pan I'd done for Hughbert. I've got a couple of crazy perspective-changing pans in my second year film that I'm hoping will be effective and working. This one worked out for me all right, in the end I went in and blurred the middle-section to work with the camera move.Maybe I'll upload some more of my layout work for hughbert.
I may upload some layouts from my new film soon, or perhaps I'll keep it more of a secret?

Wow-- I really love the warped perspective but I think my favorite thing has to be the almost pen and ink quality with the crosshatching and monochrome. Really looks like the pen and ink illustrations of old children's books-- I always really loved that style. Gorgeous all around and inspiring for when I can get back to animating short films of my own

It reminds me some Edger Allen Poe story. I love the perspectives and how it looks warped it's mind boggling

There's something I've always wanted to ask though: Is the lady in the painting Dirge? It kind of looks like her, especially in the last panel.

Inspired by her, yep! I have always loved that character, I'm eventually just going to sneak her away from my friend lol (though I doubt he minds me using her all the time )
