a photo as as souvenir of the lineart before it gets possibly ruined with color sands xD>Anyone have an idea for the bg ?
I don't think I would draw the original landscape around, since umm... it's quite ugly with a plain ground and sky..
Something positive and unique ,perhaps ?

You can use a different media and create soft impressions of distant mountains

I finally decided to just draw some clouds xD

maybe just leave it blank?
or maybe have it look like the rest of the drawing is all coming from a little bottle,or pencil,or brush...^^
(or do a watercolor wash with salt)
but anyway i love the birds^^

Uhm, perhaps a trail to a small mountain or hill? I don't know how possible that would be, but it's the only thing that comes to mind.
