Silentkit was shy, and that's why she was given her name. She rarely made friends, and only spent her time with her mother. Her siblings always teased her for being the runt. She knew it was a joke, but it still hurt her. She tried not to take the teasing personally, though.

Apprenticehood:

Silentpaw's mentor was Spiritclaw. He was a noble warrior. He trained her to the best of his ability. She, too, grew up to be strong and swift. One day, she was playing near the river with her siblings, Echopaw and Whisperpaw. Whisperpaw, her brother, slipped and fell into the river. Shadowtalon, their father, tried to save her, but it was too late. Whisperpaw had drowned, along with Shadowtalon.

Warrior:

Silentshade met Rivergaze. She fell in love with him, but sadly, he did not fall in love with her. She wanted to become mates with him, but he loved Featherwing at the time. So she gave up on him. Then she met Speckleleaf, who she eventually fell in love with. They became mates and ran off together. He died, so with a heavy heart, she went back to RainClan. Then she found out Featherwing died, and she tried comforting Rivergaze. They fell for each other for a little while. Then she met Crescentshadow. Crescentshadow was a very kind and handsome tom. They became best friends. One day, while she was with Rivergaze, she was taken away by twolegs. Eventually, she found her way back to RainClan. She was devastated when she found out Rivergaze became mates with Honeyleaf. As of now, she hangs out with Crescentshadow, and recently, they told each other that they loved each other. Then one day she was hanging out with Rivergaze, and they were cloud-watching. They were talking about something, and she brought up love, and Rivergaze told her he loved her-on accident. She told him that she felt the same way, and then they became boyfriend and girlfriend. Now she has to tell Crescentshadow that she no longer loves him, and she's scared to.

One day, she was out by the river. She had begun to wonder where Rivergaze went, for she hadn't seen him for awhile. She finally realized he was gone. She grew quiet, and depressed. She decided not to let anyone see her mourn, so she held all of her emotions in. One day, while she was out by the river once again, she heard somebody's voice. As she looked up, she spotted the calico fur of the tom she loved. Happily, they are reunited. They planned on having kits, but something not-so-good happened in their relationship.

One day, Rivergaze walked up to her when she was grooming her fur on a rock. It was a normal day. The sun was out, there was a breeze whispering through the forest, a few clouds in the sky. It seemed like a happy day. But, it wasn't. Rivergaze came with the news that he chose Honeyleaf. Silentshade was confused as he talked about how she was perfect and never let him down. Silentshade wasn't only confused, she was hurt. Angered. Because he even made her feel bad for getting taken away, and how Honeyleaf swooped in when she saw her chance. She couldn't believe her ears. She realized how stupid she was for loving the tom, and let him go. Good riddance.

A week or two passed after that. Cats were comforting her, telling her he wasn't worth it. . . But she still wanted to be on good terms with Rivergaze. She wasn't sure if she could, though, because after all. He was probably scared of her, and she didn't really know whether or not it would be healthy for her to have him in her life. So, she just decided to move on. She then met a she-cat named Ivyblossom. She was nice. Very nice, actually. She knew how to make Silentshade laugh, how to cheer her up. After awhile of them hanging out that day, they began to compliment each other, which Silentshade called 'harmless flirting.' She didn't know why she was even flirting with Ivyblossom. Then she knew. She fell for the she-cat. Ivyblossom made her feel happy, feel cared for. Ivyblossom admitted how she felt for Silentshade, and then asked to be her girlfriend. Of course, Silentshade agreed, because Ivyblossom really made her heart flutter, and she was nothing like Rivergaze. She loved Silentshade unconditionally, and Silentshade now loves her back. After a moon, the two decided to become mates, and now they plan to live happily together; forever.

Forever wouldn't last that long go. Moons passed, leading up to a day Silentshade never wished would happen. She woke up to a cold side, which was odd because Ivyblossom always slept next to her. She got up and waited for Ivyblossom, but she never came back. So she went outside of camp and looked around. No sign of her. She began to panic, and demanded that the leader set up a search party. They found nothing, and now Silentshade believes Ivyblossom is dead.

"I'm glad she was there for you, Rivergaze." Silentshade said, pain and confusion in her voice. "But I'm not the one who's trying to run away from you! I'm not the one who left you! I was taken away, and I thought you would wait there for me, with real love, with real hope, hope that I would come back. Turns out I was wrong, huh?"

She looked away. "But I'd wait for you, Rivergaze." she said quietly, looking down at the ground quietly for awhile. "And It's good to know I mean nothing, when all I ever wanted to do was love you. All I ever wanted was to make you happy." she said, and looked up at him. "Pl-Please don't hate me, Rivergaze." she choked out. "Please. . . I-I need you in my life." she said quietly, tears stinging her eyes.

So this is how it was. He was beginning to hate her when she was the one who was chasing the tom for no reason, she realized. But, she couldn't let go. Not after all they did together, said to each other. She didn't want him to go with the anger in his heart he had for her now. She didn't want him to go at all.
