Why should I tell you how I feel?
There's a chance you won't feel the same.
Could it make this wound heal?
Or will it just give us both shame?

Why should I tell you what I think?
My thoughts don't matter to you.
And even if they were to spill out
What good are they to you?

Why should I tell you what I see?
The image won't look the same in your eyes.
Though it is as beautiful as the sea
It could bring darkness to our sky.

Why am I questioning everything?
Could it be that I am frightened and scared?
I know one day I will find the true meaning of love
But until then, please hold me like you care.

Good job putting into words such complex emotions! I remember feeling this way a few times... ok more than a few!! Even with people we know love us these sorts of things can still happen.

Well actually I have a change of plans in general I think I want the poem I'm working on to be based off of a new drawing I'm working on so yes ill have a new poem up but based off of a different picture not "Love:Yours vs Mine"

You write poems as well? Any up on d.a.? And well ppl always critique theirs harsher so I don't believes they r as sad or "crazy" as u say, a poem is a poem.
