Description An untextured preview of my next project which I dread rendering... it'll probably take between a half hour to 2 hours per frame for 88 frames... do the math Mostly because of the clear liquid i'll be using with a radiosity render. Unless i make it opaque

anywho, i used RealFlow 3 to simulate the liquid and Cinema 4D to model the parts and render

added much content, including a test render and some more animations
- working on the preloader...

You may be pleased to know im currently remaking this, the render is taking quite a while though on my laptop, so it wont be ready for another few days

I've been trying so hard to learn RealFlow, it is not going well.

If you can name some places to find some really good free tutorials, i'd love that.

There isn't really any good ones... just the tutes on the realflow site. Just play around with it and you'll get the hang of it

That's amazing
do you know any tut that might help me do something like that? i've been searching but there isn't much info on realflow

pwm In reply to ThugLord [2005-12-16 13:18:28 +0000 UTC]

No, i just used what i could find on the website and the forums, most of the things i learned just from playing around with the software. The RF help files aren't bad either

this was mostly done in Real Flow, just rendered in C4D

OrangeHeretic In reply to pwm [2005-11-08 22:52:14 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I had never heard of real flow until I checked out your gallery. I still want C4D, though, as the render times are amazing in that program.

fast... but not so powerful. You can get decent renders, but it is quite limited when it comes to realism. I really want to get maxwell render, made by the same people as real flow

This is awsome It looks like you put a lot of work into this; the result sure shows me that. The movement of the water is amazing, but wouldn't some of it fall on the ball too?

Nice, I've used realflow before so I 'kinda' know what you're going through, I only was able to mess around with a few of the materials in the program. It's quite impressive that's for sure Have fun with the rendering
