              “Yuck! Snow.” Jess said crunching through the white fluff. She headed to the back of the oversized trailer where Max had been throwing a fit. His loud neigh resonated through the show grounds. Jess unlatched the trailer door and moved quickly out of the way as the large chestnut burst outside. “Thanks, I needed that.” Jess aid sarcastically to Max, who was now sniffing his new surroundings.

                Max sniffed the snow and realized how much he missed the cold white stuff. His new home at FoxMill got very little snowfall. He was about to roll when his head was snapped back by Jess, who seemed to realized what he was about to do. Was that really necessary? Max though shaking his massive neck.

                “You have to stay clean and dry, Max.” Which Max responded with an annoyed snort.

                The day progressed and now Max had on his fancy bridle. He and Jess were waiting to enter their halter class. Max’s ears attentively listening to Jess go over the pattern. She seemed nervous, so he bumped her with is muzzle and softly nickered.

                “Yeah, we’ll be fine. We’ve got this.” Jess chuckled a bit.
