Description
A piece I did as a thank you to a guy who usually requests a sketch from me when I see him at a con. I'm new to cons and "fans" and such so when I do attend a con, I'm grateful for every person who stops by and hands over their hard earned money to a smoe like me. Especially when surrounded by 18kabillion other people hawking the same stuff I'm shilling. So thanks Daniel. As far what I was thinking: I just wanted to show Dr.Doom being as awesome as he is. THE greatest villain out. Pose is pretty standard Doom pose but...eh.
On a side-note, I had to do it. Great as he is I had to tweak the outfit. I tried to give him a more militeristic, regal edge. I mean, c'mon...he's FRICKING DR. DOOM!!

I'm in agreement with the last comment; pull this up in Photoshop and run a quick level filter over it to darken those lines. Your wonderful details deserve to be fully appreciated.

Ah...well, there are other ways. Even running a brightness/contrast/gamma filter over the image in one of Microsoft's installed programs might help. (Do you have MS Picture and Fax viewer or some equivalent?) Or you could download one of the freebies out there, like GIMP (which I've never used but heard a lot about).

this is DOPE, dude. seriously. i would mess with the levels of the scanned image tho. could stand to be a bit darker so we can appreciate the full volume of detail. some stuff kinda gets lost since the lines are so light. then again, it could just be my monitor, lol.
