Well I thought I'd make some stamps to decorate my journal with.For those that don't know me, I really don't like Apple Macs very much at all.

I HAVE a mac and it's a piece of garbage. (Required for school.)
It lags all the time, programs randomly quit themselves and...BEST OF ALL...
I can't play any games on it.
Or if I want to play my games I have to RE-buy them JUST FOR THE MAC.
Oh yeah, and this is supposedly a top-of-the-line laptop. Give me a break, apple. (OH and the power cord is a fire hazard. Just in case anyone wants to burn their house down, they can get a macbook pro!)

The "brick" heats up to ridiculous temperatures. As in...left a mark on my sheets. It was THAT hot.

Yeah. I was kind of irritated that apple doesn't authorize other companies to make a third-party one. Probably so they can keep charging $90 for replacements of their awful brand-name one.

That means forking out tons of money for a new computer.
Though I'd LOVE a nice Dell (I know lots of people have problems with them, but I had one for 4 years and not a single hitch), this stupid thing is required for school and cost way too much.
Actually I like Windows XP. Vista is balls, but XP? Do love.

I build my PCs from scratch. It is much cheaper and you don't end up with the bundled crap you usually find on most factory built PCs.

macs suck, i use them in school and there so freaking slow, it takes about 5 minutes to get on the internet on my pc it takes about 6 seconds

One must take into consideration that school equipment is usually in poorer condition than personal ones.

I have used a mac before. I was forced to use my brothers when I went to visit. It was shit. It reinforced my convictions.

you can't judge by the first use...coming from windows is obvious to be UNABLE to use them(at first it's a mess.)

I've used a number of operating systems and interfaces for them. The OSX environment is probably the worst. Additionally, not only is the apple key pretentious, it is unergonomic too.
Macs are the choice of those that have not properly researched 'alternative' systems and those that haven't properly researched why they want an 'alternative' system.

I can understand if you don't like it,and I can only speak about my experience.
I don't pretend or think about this to be an "alternative" system...maybe this is the key:there's not ONE system,everyone should simply choose the best for them.
I mean,I was fine with windows XP.Then I tried MacOSX and I simply liked it very much,not to mention the hardware itself.Now I see the difference and I wouldn't turn back at all.
It's a matter of taste,I believe...this OS just fits me and what I have to do,so I stick with it!
