the thing is flash does take more ram and can not work on touch screens. flash works great for laptops and desktops yes. but as the wold gets more moble they need to change.
its not a matter of apple taking over, its a matter of apple moving on, google went with and youtube too. hulu is next

I've already said that Flash 10.1 is being redesigned so it works with Smartphones without killing the battery. And really, games on the App Store kill my battery, should Steve Jobs "save me" from those?
Also, explain the second part because I have no idea what you mean. If it's a Flash video slam then I'd agree that Adobe Flash is a stupid video container. However, the option to watch the is also nice. And Hulu will not be designing in HTML 5, they're waiting for the platform to evolve. It doesn't support their advertisement system.

yes they have. ever since the first touch screen adobe has been saying they have been working on a working flash. but nothing yet. HTML5 works

What the hell are you talking about? The platforms that Adobe is developing for haven't even been out for 3 years. Android was released in 2008, WebOS was released in 2009 etc. You can't just develop Flash for touch screens. Do you have understand what you're arguing? I'm done arguing unless you can understand how computers work. Stop acting like you know something you simply can't grasp.

these are just a few. but as you see the majority of the world is sick and tired of flash BS.
and no the majority of mobile devises do not use flash cause its very unreliable and poor to run smoothly on a device. yes some have it. but its very bad and slow

Those are primarily concerned with the application of flash. -.-
Besides, there are always advertisers and site designers with bad taste so html 5 won't fix it. In fact it may become worse because at least you can block flash apps.
If there are systems out there to block unwanted content why should a device manufacturer deem it necessary to block all access to flash apps just because a number of sites have made bad use of it? Censoring the internet for commercial gain is a morally bankrupt behaviour.
"BBC = bias bullshit crap"
And a site called 'flashsucks.org' is a fair and balanced source of information eh?
Sounds like you have basically taken Steve Jobs' open letter as gospel.
Also wtf? I supply you with links to reliable sources (the BBC is reliable in the majority of cases. More reliable than say- Fox News) to support my statement of fact that Apple has been blocking developers and content users and that flash works on a number of mobile devices and you give me some links to opinions on why people think the applications of flash are bad. What is that meant to prove?

Really, flashsucks.org isn't biased but BBC is? And you linked to the KDE project, a project which disdains anything closed source? Also, check the article date. What's posted on that KDE blog is outdated. None of these links are reliable.
Also, want to see Adobe Flash running on the Nexus One ? How about Palm Pre ? Looks fine to me. And everything has massive security holes, like Safari . Shouldn't Apple remove Safari because it could be "harmful"? Remove your lips from Jobs's ass and actually do a bit of research.
Also, Adobe will be optimizing for Mac computers soon. Apple finally got off their lazy ass and designed the framework for them to do it because it isn't Adobe's fault Flash for Mac sucks. It's Apple's fault. Otherwise, Flash works great on my Windows and Linux PC

Niazac In reply to Manice008 [2010-05-22 00:09:03 +0000 UTC]
A virus != hacking. A virus is a program that replicates itself and hides itself in the software. A security hole is far worse as it allows a hacker to gain any information you have stored on your computer. Safari has major security problems therefore you Mac can get hacked. Please understand the argument before you start to argue.

funny how every person who has a pc knows lots of people who has had a mac crash/get a virus/ or hacked. yet there PC has had no problem. yet ive been working with macs for along time now and this thing runs as fast as the day i got it and already went through 2 PCs and lost my whole schools pc side cause of a major virus. every year they got to reboot the PCs just to clean them out
so i dont believe you, nor i ever will

Niazac In reply to Manice008 [2010-05-22 17:08:43 +0000 UTC]
Mac is being targeted now that more people are using it. You can't just say that your system is safe because you've never seen a problem. It's a stupid outlook. It's the equivalent of saying "people don't get shot because I've never been shot."
And how can you go through two Windows PCs? (Mac is a PC. It's a personal computer.) Did you download virus software? While your at it, get something for you Mac too. And it's not like a virus will permanently screw up a computer. Elaborate.
Also, your school was probably attacked by a student who wanted to get back at them. I've seen it happen before. It happened at my school with mac computers.

I didn't stray off topic once. Please, show me one instance of me straying off topic. Also, if you took that as an insult then that's fine, but idiocy is the lack of knowledge in a certain area or just general ignorance. I'd say I used that word fine. Along with learning about computers before insulting something and stating incorrect information, I'd suggest buying a dictionary. It might help

ah, agree with you totally there, although I may not go as far as hate, I suppose they're good for people who... barely ever use the computer XD. It may just my thing with apple and it's lack of 3rd party stuff (forcing you to pay the "apple tax"). I remember the macs we had at my old school, although they had programs like flash on them they were almost unusable because of their lack of right click (although that may their cheap mouses). I was so glad that my high school has PC's |D
They're just so overpriced for something half as good as a PC. It doesn't even have to be a windows computer, Ubuntu will do just as well, and it's free.
