Okay so I just got my first tablet and drawing program a few days ago and wanted to see what I was capable of with out any experience with it.I managed to make this in around 2-3 hours and I know there's a few half assed areas but it was more of an opportunity to explore the program and the tablet's features than trying to create a master piece XD and for my first time I'm pleased with the out come!
It's still really alien having to make brush strokes on something and see the line appear on something else, definitely gonna take a lot of getting used to but I can't wait to become more familiar with this awesome device I had a lot of fun doing it!

I really like this! Especially the way you made the eyes shine, and the detail that went into the eyebrow. It may or may not be half assed, but I think those areas turned out really, really well! As did your shading! I'm looking forward to more of your stuff in the future!

Wow, Snake! It's not surprising to me that you're an artistic type! I have trouble drawing people in profile, and you making me so jelly, seeing how I'm going to be an Animator in the future! Is there any chance that you're going to be posting some little literature pieces here and there? I would love to see some of those~!

Better then the mistakes I draw on my tablet :'D What program you use? For my tablet I normally go with Sai or PS cs6.
But other than that, looks real nice for a first time. By the way, hope you get better man!

Not bad for your first try I'd say! And yeah you eventually develop a feel for the tablet and can look at the screen while you draw. Just takes some practice.

That's exactly how this drawing started out!! Well it was actually a crudely drawing ejaculating penis and my name on the canvas.

My first time with a tablet was, well, surprising. I wasn't expecting anything like it. The smooth surface bothered me and like you said, having something appear somewhere else was alien. Never got that into drawing for a long time but I'm starting to find it a bit more interesting to actually try doing. I do enjoy recreating images into pixel art form it's quite nice.
This is really good though. I love the details on the eye and the eyebrow and lashes. A lot of let's players seem to be good artists.

Hmmm I guess when I was young? I mainly entertained myself as a kid so that meant playing a LOT of video games and the characters back then were really easy to draw, like sonic for example. So I'd just doodle sega characters here and there but nothing ever serious.
If anything this was my first serious attempt and even then I kinda just went 'meh' at some parts such as the hair. I just wanted to see if I could find my footing with the tablet really!
