Well, this year has been a tale of two halves, almost literally. I never posted a journal about it, but my mother was diagnosed with Stage 4 kidney cancer the first week of July. Needless to say, there have been a lot of changes in my family life since then. The big one for my art is that I downloaded Photoshop for the iPad, so I could distract myself during all of the waiting in hospitals. It doesn't have all of the tools that I'm used to, so I've been doing mostly simpler portrait-style manips on it. But it HAS drastically increased my productivity compared to the last couple of years, so I'm overall happy with it. Now if I could only post more frequently. I'm pretty much caught up now, but I spent most of the year with 3-4 week old manips still sitting in my to-post folders.
