i see Moscvichs in my country too, they always remind me a turkish movie about first turkish car which is not been even produced: "Devrim Arabalari"
even your neighbour's car looks like uncared, the story of our cars are more sad than Moscvichs. If you feel interest on the story you may find a brief text here: [link]

Checked the link. He-he, interesting. Actually, Russia is still trying to start producing competitive cars, without much success. Putin's administration attempted to popularise Russian cars in some ways. The former president even performed kinda test drive himself)) [link]

)) Thank you)
Moscvich is pretty old model). That is why I kike them. Their production was stopped in 1976. Actually, I don't think their story is very sad...
Or what did you mean by the "sad story"?

As of your neighbour's Moscvich, it's just a little uncared... However the essentially sad story is about the cars "Devrim Arabalari".. if you have time take a quick look to the link..
Btw the movie that i was mentioning was much more dramatic than the wikipedia's linked cold-text..
Briefly, this is the story of a test production car which is denied by prime minister because the car stopped while carrying him due to no-gasoline in its fuel-tank.
