Edit 2: Sincere thanks to everyone who likes the comic. But I'm closing the comments, I can't stand the constant terrible arrow to the knee jokes.

When you're an adventurer, everything must be in top shape. Except your knees. Those are for arrows.

Yep, most of the time for me since my character has damaging enough weapons headshot sneak attacks kill mostly instantly... but there is the occasional shrugging off a arrow to the head.... That bandit used to be adventurer like you, but then he took a arrow to the knee.

This is great. Exactly my thoughts.
Before the game was released, I read a lot of previews saying that arrows were far more powerful in Skyrim than they had been in Oblivion, and you could easily get one-hit kills, but they were also more expensive and rare.
This doesn't seem to be the case at all. They fly from the bow faster, but they're cheap, easy to find and I can still only get one-hit kills on weak enemies while sneaking, and on most enemies I need a very powerful enchanted bow to get instant kills. Just like Oblivion, really. What gives?

Oh how I love Skyrim, I also love the glitches in it. I jammed my Orc into a corner so he was caught between a rock and a wall (confused enemies running around trying to hit him FTW) and somehow the wall cut away and the enemy on the other side shot him straight through the face so he had an arrow through the nose and the back of the head. Then just to add to the lulz I backed out of the corner (the wall reappeared) and spent twenty minutes running around with this glitched arrow in place (it only vanished when I jumped off a mountain and into a river)

I love when you shoot them in the neck, the head, the eye, the mouth, and they're alive and "wtfbbq?! Oh well, I must be hearing things..." I love playing a rogue just for this. Same when you conjure atronach after atronach... they never say "Who the heck is doing this" but go about their business like it ain't no thang that these super natural things just appear out of nowhere... if that is the case, Nords are totally metal.
