I particularly like the weird shaped tree in the depths of the mist.At the time of taking this shot i didn't even acknowledge it, it was after much deliberation over a title and gazing mindlessly at the picture that i saw it and thought of titling the photograph after the tree.

This is such an amazing shot. It's so peaceful. The fog all through the photo really makes the elk (deer? caribou?) stand out without making him the entire focus of the shot. I love misty foggy days. They soften everything up so beautifully.

I really like this. The varying shades of concealment, as objects slip further and further into the background really gives this shot a great perspective.

Youve definately captured the atmosphere to a tee! I love the mist you can see settled on the plants in the foreground. The aspect ratio is bang on too focusing the eye on the important stuff.

I am immune to the cold, I was in the boy scouts for many years, camping out in the cold!
