My favorite example of pride and power, the African Lioness. The females typically do most of the hunting, looking after the cubs, grooming and family chores. This lady clearly is the master of her domain and I am humbled by her beauty and tranquility in her presence.Taken at:

The stark contrast between the subject and background makes this a very powerful and eye-catching photo. Her smooth lines and slightly resting musculature add to the sense of presence and nobility exuded by this beautiful creature. This is an extremely good photo!

I am also so glad you enjoyed this photo and this lioness although young still was so stunning and graceful I only wish I could have taken more photos of her, I've learnt now not to go on a busy day
